A set of figures on the theme of Soviet naval infantry in 1:35 scale. The figures are made up of several parts, are assembled according to the instructions and are painted by hand. The number of figures, their poses and their equipment are given on the box and in the manufacturer's instructions.
The 1:35 scale is the most widespread for military subjects, so the figures will go with armored vehicles, artillery and other vehicles in the same scale. Figures are the quickest way to give a finished model scale and a story: they show the size of the machine and turn a standalone model into a scene. They also serve well as the basis of a smaller diorama on a small base.
Clean the parts of surplus material and traces of production, fill and sand the seams after gluing, or they will stand out once the paint goes on. Try assembling the figure dry before gluing and check that the whole thing stands naturally. Painting usually goes from a base coat through the main shades of the equipment and uniform to the face and the small details; leave the face for last, because it decides the final impression. A darker underpainting of the folds and a lighter highlight on the edges will help. Wash and degrease the surface before painting so that the paint holds.
The set will please modelers who build military subjects in 1:35 scale and want to add a crew or infantry to them, as well as collectors of military figures. Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
