A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard aimed at the interior of a model of the American F-22A Raptor fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an upgrade accessory for a plastic model. The set contains fine photo-etched cockpit elements with a color print, which raise the fidelity of the cockpit without demanding hand painting.
The Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor is an American fifth-generation fighter with low-observable (stealth) technology. It combines supersonic flight without afterburner, advanced avionics and high agility and ranks among the most capable air superiority fighters. It served as the leading US Air Force machine for winning air dominance.
The color-printed photo-etched interior parts are glued into the plastic with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. Place the instrument panels and the side consoles exactly according to the instructions, and separate the fine parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface. The cockpit comes out well once the recesses are brought out with a wash.
This is a detail accessory for a plastic model, not a kit in its own right. The glue, the paints and the base model are not included in the package.
