This injection-molded plastic kit from Bronco captures the German Sturmgeschütz III assault gun in the Ausf.E version (Sd.Kfz.142/1) in 1:35 scale. The model faithfully reproduces the low turretless hull, the casemate with the gun and the running gear, and it is intended to be glued and painted.
The StuG III was among the most numerously produced German tracked combat vehicles of the Second World War. It was based on the chassis of the Panzer III tank and carried its gun in a fixed superstructure without a rotating turret. The Ausf.E version was one of the earlier variants with the short barrel; side stowage bins on the hull increased the internal space for ammunition and equipment. The vehicle proved itself both in supporting infantry and later in the anti-tank role.
On the plastic use liquid cement. Finish and paint the running gear and the interior before closing the hull. A primer coat, an airbrush for the base shade and washes and pigments to accentuate the detail, for weathering and for mud effects on the tracks are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
