Voyager Model 1:35 photo-etched set - armor plates for the Hummel (early version) is a brass etch detail accessory for models of the early version of the Hummel self-propelled gun. It is not a kit but a set of improvements to a basic model. Intended for the Dragon 6150/6204 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This brass photo-etched set serves to improve the detail of plastic models of the early version of the German Hummel self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale. It concentrates on the armor of the fighting compartment. It is not a model but an accessory; the basic kit is not included in the package.
The target kit is the Dragon 6150/6204, and that one is bought separately.
Photo-etch gives the armor plates a realistic thin gauge and adds clips, grab handles and fine details that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic. A model of the early Hummel thus gains a more accurate look of the fighting superstructure.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard mat, bend them with a photo-etch bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or two-part epoxy. Glue the flat panels against a ruler to keep their shape. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with primer.
This is a detail set, not a model. The basic kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
