A set of 8 turned brass 380 mm gun barrels (1:350) from the Polish maker Aber for models of the German battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of eight turned brass 380 mm gun barrels in 1:350 scale from the Polish maker Aber. It is a metal aftermarket accessory, not a kit. The barrels replace the plastic main battery barrels on models of the German battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz. The count of eight pieces matches four twin turrets.
The German battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz carried eight 380 mm guns in four twin turrets, two forward and two aft. They were the largest German battleships of the Second World War and their main battery was among the most effective weapons of its day.
Turned barrels capture the profile of the muzzle more faithfully than plastic and stand up to handling better. Cut off the plastic barrels, clean up the openings in the turrets, degrease the brass and fit the barrels with super glue. It is worth priming the metal before painting.
This is a metal detail accessory. The ship model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
