Flyhawk 1:350 - photo-etched anchors and anchor chain of the Imperial Japanese Navy is a photo-etched brass set for faithfully finishing the anchor gear of models of Japanese ships.

This is a photo-etched (PE) brass detail set, not a model of a ship. The set replaces molded anchors and adds a fine anchor chain on plastic models of Japanese warships of the Second World War in 1:350 scale.
Anchors and above all the anchor chain are among the elements where the fidelity of etched metal is irreplaceable. A fine chain with open links looks far more realistic on the bow than a molded plastic suggestion.
Separate the parts from the fret carefully and shape them in a photo-etch bender if needed. Glue with thin super glue (cyanoacrylate); apply a primer to the metal before painting and bring the chain out with a wash.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a model. A matching base kit is needed for the build; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
