This is not a model of a ship but a photo-etched accessory set of British anchors and anchor chain from the period of the Second World War in 1:350 scale. The set replaces the coarse plastic anchors and chains with a fine reproduction, which markedly lifts the realism of the bow of a model.
Finely photo-etched anchors and anchor chain corresponding to British naval practice. The detailed rendering livens up the hawse pipes and the deck where the plastic parts come across as simplified.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, clean the tabs off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Shape the chain carefully with tweezers and seat it along the hawse. Working with a magnifier is recommended.
This is a photo-etched accessory set, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
