A photo-etched set of triple 25 mm Type 96 anti-aircraft guns in 1:350 scale from Flyhawk for refining Japanese shipboard defense.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched accessory for ship modelers, not a stand-alone model. The set brings fine brass parts for building and refining the triple mounts of the Type 96 light anti-aircraft gun of 25 mm caliber, which formed the backbone of the close-in defense of Japanese warships during the Second World War.
The Type 96 of 25 mm caliber was the standard Japanese light anti-aircraft gun; the triple mount was its most widespread variant on the decks of cruisers, battleships and aircraft carriers. The photo-etched parts capture the shields, the sights, the elevation handwheels and the structure of the mount faithfully, which injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a complete model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
