This is not an aircraft kit but a resin, 3D-printed detail accessory. The set brings a complete cockpit interior for the early version of the American LTV A-7E Corsair II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. In the basic edition the instrument panels and other surfaces are handled by pre-printed, self-adhesive 3D decals that are applied to the printed parts and save work painting the detail.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was a subsonic American-built carrier and land-based attack aircraft. The early version of the cockpit differs in equipment and instrument layout from later machines; on a model built open, a faithful cockpit is among the most closely watched features.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and separate them from the print supports. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. Apply the 3D decals onto a clean, degreased surface; paint the base shades of the cockpit and the instrument decals will give you colored, readable panels without laborious hand painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
