The AIM-9L Sidewinder missiles complete a model of a combat aircraft with faithful external stores carrying fine detail on the seeker head and the control surfaces. Thanks to 3D printing and resin they offer crisper detail than the parts from an ordinary kit, and they suit a wide range of fighters that carry this armament in 1:48 scale.
First wash any uncured print resin off the parts. Carefully cut off the print supports and clean up the surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use airway protection when sanding and work in a well-ventilated space; handle the fragile control surfaces with care.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
