This accessory set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit contains a pair of faithfully made BRU-55 smart racks in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory intended for improving the armament of a finished model. The parts are made by modern 3D printing, which captures even the small features of the rack.
The BRU-55 is a twin rack that makes it possible to hang two precision-guided bombs on one pylon. The set is intended for F/A-18 models and gives them a realistic configuration for carrying precision munitions, which the plastic parts from kits usually simplify.
First wash the parts to remove any residue of the print resin, carefully separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding. Applying a primer before painting is recommended.
The accessory set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
