An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli multirole combat aircraft IAI Kfir in the C2 and C7 versions in 1:48 scale from Kinetic. The parts are molded in light gray plastic with clear parts, finely engraved panel lines, positionable flaps and well-detailed landing gear bays. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Kfir is a versatile Israeli combat aircraft based on a modified Mirage 5 airframe, fitted with Israeli avionics and a license-built J79 engine. Its characteristic feature is the pair of small foreplanes, the canards. Compared with the C2, the C7 version brought modernized avionics and a wider range of weapon options.
We recommend liquid cement for plastic, a primer base and spraying with an airbrush. Finish the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. The desert and multicolor Israeli schemes come out well with masks and subtle accenting of the panels.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
