This 3D-printed accessory from Reskit is not an airplane model but a separate ejection seat in the late modification for the model of the F-35A Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified seat from the plastic kit.
The seat dominates an open cockpit. The printed part has faithfully rendered harnesses, handles and mechanism that injected plastic cannot deliver. Once painted, it raises the realism of the cockpit markedly.
Cut the seat from the print supports and sand the fine surfaces while protecting your airways. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the harnesses and the handles with contrasting shades and a fine wash so that the details read clearly.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. Paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
