An add-on set for a model of the American F-106 interceptor in 1:48 scale. The range of parts is given in the manufacturer's description.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-106 was an American interceptor with a delta wing, built for a single task: to take off on alert and intercept a target heading for the North American continent. The whole design matched that. The wing without a horizontal stabilizer gave the machine speed and ceiling, the armament was hidden in an internal weapons bay so that it did not spoil the airflow, and the onboard systems worked in connection with the ground command network, which guided the aircraft to its target. In air defense service the type lasted a long time and left it only when machines a generation younger were already flying.
This is an add-on set for a model of the F-106 in 1:48 scale, that is, parts with which a finished kit is improved. Which parts of the aircraft the set concerns and how many parts it contains is given in the manufacturer's description and instructions; go by them to check which kit it is cut for as well. Accessories of this kind pay off precisely in large scales, where a coarser shape of a kit part is immediately noticeable.
First compare the part from the set with what it is to replace and try fitting it dry. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts so that the coat holds on them. Super glue holds on resin and plastic parts better than cement for polystyrene. Assemble the small parts with tweezers and paint them separately, because once seated on the model they are hard to reach.
The aircraft model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
