F/A-18 Super Hornet wheels set 1:48 (Reskit) is a resin set of replacement wheels for models of the carrier-based fighter F/A-18 Super Hornet in 1:48 scale. A landing gear accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is an accessory, not a separate model. It holds resin replacement wheels with a fine relief of the tread and the hubs for models of the carrier-based fighter F/A-18 Super Hornet in 1:48 scale. They replace the simplified wheels from the box with a more faithful rendering.
The F/A-18 Super Hornet is an enlarged and modernized American carrier-based multirole fighter. It has a sturdier landing gear and tires than the original Hornet, so correctly shaped wheels help to capture the differences of the particular version.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels, cut the casting block off the contact patch of the tire and sand it with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate. Paint the tires in a matte dark gray and set the hubs apart with an opaque or metallic shade.
The set is an accessory and is supplied unpainted and unassembled. The paints, the glue and the basic model are not included in the package.
