Omask 1:48 Fi 156C Storch double sided mask (for Tamiya) is a set of masking templates for the cabin glazing of the Fieseler Fi 156C Storch, with masks for the outer and the inner side of the glazing. It is not a model; the Tamiya kit is not included in the package.

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masking templates from the Czech maker Omask, intended for the kit of the Fieseler Fi 156C Storch in 1:48 scale from Tamiya. The designation double sided means that the set contains masks for both sides of the glazing, outside and inside. With the Storch that is essential: the real machine had exceptionally extensive cabin glazing with large side windows bulging outwards, so on a model the inside of the cabin is perfectly visible through the glass. Without masking on the inside, spraying the interior color and the cabin framing leaves smears and overspray on the inner face of the glazing, and those are very hard to put right afterwards.
Masking from both sides gives you sharp, clean glazing frames on both faces while the glass itself stays perfectly clear. The result is markedly better than cutting tape by hand, and it saves a great deal of time.
For modelers who are building the Storch from Tamiya in 1:48 scale and want clean cabin glazing and sharp frames without the laborious cutting of tape by hand. Suitable for less experienced modelers as well, because working with ready-made masks is simpler than any alternative.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. The plastic model of the Fi 156C Storch, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
