The Fouga CM.170 Magister in the colors of the Austrian Air Force is a plastic kit of the French jet trainer in 1:48 scale from Kinetic.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from Kinetic captures the French jet trainer Fouga CM.170 Magister in the markings of the Austrian Air Force. Besides the plastic parts the box holds a photo-etched fret and waterslide decals. Optional variants of the landing gear and the cockpit are included.
The Fouga Magister was a French two-seat jet trainer, easily recognized by its characteristic butterfly tail surfaces in the shape of the letter V. It served from the 1950s with a number of air forces and was also used for light combat training. Austria operated it as its basic jet trainer.
First finish the cockpit and fit the photo-etched parts, then close the fuselage. Liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush are recommended. The metal and silvery surfaces of the trainer will stand out over a smooth base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
