An etched metal set for the interior of a model of the Junkers Ju 88 A-4 in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Junkers Ju 88 was a German twin-engine combat aircraft of the Second World War, used as a bomber and for attacks on ground targets. The A-4 rendering is among the most widespread: it has an increased wingspan and a strengthened structure compared with the earlier batches. The crew sat together in the glazed forward cockpit, which makes the interior a clearly visible part of a finished model.
According to the name, the set is aimed at the interior, and it is made of etched metal. Etched metal is an order of magnitude thinner than injection-molded plastic, so parts such as instrument panels, consoles and restraint belts look more credible in 1:48 scale than the plastic substitutes from a kit. The set is an accessory for a build, not a stand-alone model.
Separate the parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface, not by twisting. Make the bends along the marked groove, best in a bending tool or between metal rulers. Glue with super glue applied in a minute amount; for larger areas a glue with a slower working time suits, so that there is time left to position the part. Spray and finish the interior before the fuselage is closed up; once it is glued together you will not get to it.
The kit of the model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery unless stated otherwise.
