A 3D printed set from the manufacturer Reskit containing four French air-to-air guided missiles Matra MICA in the IR version, that is with infrared guidance, in 1:48 scale. The set serves to add to the armament of models of modern fighters and brings finely rendered missiles with faithful detail. This is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for more experienced modelers.
The Matra MICA is a French multi-purpose air-to-air guided missile carried by the Rafale, Mirage 2000, Gripen and Eurofighter fighters. The IR version has a passive imaging infrared seeker head and is intended above all against targets with a small radar cross section or in an environment of heavy jamming. Externally it can be told apart by the rounded, transparent front of the seeker head.
Separate the parts carefully from the printing supports and glue them with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Spray the missiles and pick the detail out gently.
This is a supplementary 3D printed set of stores, not the model itself. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
