A set of three resin figures made by 3D printing showing the crew of an airfield munitions loader in 1:48 scale. The scene is set in the era of the war in Vietnam and captures the driver of the loader and the airmen with him. It is an accessory that brings an aviation scene to life, not an aircraft kit.
The MJ-1, nicknamed the Jammer, is a low airfield tractor and munitions loader with which bombs and rockets were brought to combat aircraft and lifted under their wings. The set recalls typical ground crew of the Vietnam conflict period and helps to set a model in the faithful context of preparing a machine for action.
Wash the figures free of the remains of the print supports and clean up the mating surfaces gently. Glue them together with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and apply a primer before painting. The faces and the period air force uniforms come into their own with acrylic figure paints, a dark wash and a dry brush to bring out the folds.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
