This is a resin, 3D-printed set of two figures of pilots sitting in ejection seats in 1:48 scale from the maker Reskit. The set will bring the cockpit of a model of the OV-10 Bronco observation and light attack aircraft to life. The figures are printed with fine detail of the equipment and the helmets.
Pilot figures set in place raise the realism of an open cockpit markedly, where empty seats would look unnatural. The pilots are rendered in a sitting pose directly for the seats of the Bronco, so they fit in without major modification.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a little detergent so that the print resin residue disappears. Carefully cut away the 3D print supports and sand the surfaces gently with respiratory protection. Do the gluing with super glue. Apply an acrylic primer before painting, then paint the uniforms, the equipment and the faces.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
