The refueling probe for the CH-53E Super Stallion and the MH-53E Sea Dragon 1:48 (Reskit) is a 3D printed resin accessory for the helicopter's refueling probe.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin (3D printed) in-flight refueling probe for models of the heavy helicopters Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion and MH-53E Sea Dragon in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory from Reskit that replaces the heavy or simplified plastic part with accurate, thin-walled resin. The part is designed for the kit from Academy.
The CH-53E Super Stallion is a heavy transport helicopter of the US Navy and Marine Corps; the MH-53E Sea Dragon is its version for mine countermeasures. Both have the characteristic extended refueling probe on the nose, which allows refueling in flight and markedly extends their range.
Separate the fine part carefully from the print supports, wash it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The probe is slender, so handle it carefully. Apply a primer and finish with an airbrush; wear on the tip of the probe can be suggested by drybrushing a metal shade.
This is a resin accessory; the set does not contain the model itself, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
