Saab JA-37 Viggen, 3D color interior 1:48

A set of color 3D decals by Red Fox Studio intended to raise the detail of the cockpit of the Swedish Saab JA-37 Viggen fighter in 1:48 scale. These are neither a kit nor resin or photo-etched parts, but raised color elements printed on a flexible film that are applied like a self-adhesive decal. The set is intended for the Special Hobby Viggen kit in this scale.

What the set contains and what it is for

The instrument panel and the side consoles are reproduced with faithful colors, lettering and a raised relief of the dials. Thanks to the flexible film the decals adhere even to gently curved surfaces and create the impression of three-dimensional instruments without painting the individual gauges. The result lifts the realistic look of an open cockpit considerably.

Use

• Clean and degrease the cockpit surface of the base model
• Separate the elements carefully and place them on the instrument panel and the consoles
• Press them down and work them into the rounded places
• Best suited to more advanced modelers with experience of detailing
