A set of colored 3D decals for detailed work on the cockpit interior of the Fw 190 D-9 fighter in 1:48 scale. Unlike ordinary flat decals these have relief, with a three-dimensional structure of the instrument panels, side consoles and controls including faithful coloring and legible dials. It is neither a kit nor a photo-etched set but a decorative accessory that replaces or markedly improves the cockpit from the box.

Use

• A part is cut from the sheet, soaked for about 15 s in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper into place.
• Suitable for models of the Fw 190 D-9 in 1:48 scale: the instrument panel, the side consoles and other cockpit panels.
• The parts have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss varnish (Future, Tamiya X-22); do not use a decal softener, as it would damage the printed resin.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to reach a realistic interior quickly and without soldering photo-etch. Working with 3D decals is easier than with photo-etch, but it still calls for care in placing the small parts.

On intricate surfaces a drop of super glue helps. This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
