ROP Strazmistr cetnictva 1:35 is a Czech historical resin figure of a member of the First Republic gendarmerie.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP, depicting a strazmistr, an NCO, of the Czechoslovak gendarmerie from the period of the First Republic. The figure is cast in resin and is supplied to be built and painted. Check the exact number of parts and accessories against the instructions supplied.
The cetnictvo was the armed security corps of First Republic Czechoslovakia, which kept public order above all in the countryside. The strazmistr was the basic rank of its serving members. The period uniform with a helmet and the equipment of the 1930s make a gendarme a rewarding subject for a historical figure.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, clean up the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), filling any small gaps. Lay down a primer and paint the figure with acrylics or oils; the face and the detail of the uniform come into their own with shading and glazes. Setting it on a base or in a diorama suits it well.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without a base or accessories, unless stated otherwise. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
