A resin (3D printed) restraint system for the folded rotor blades of the Sea King helicopter in 1:48 scale. An accessory for the Hasegawa kit, not a helicopter model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed restraint system for the folded main rotor blades made by direct 3D printing from resin by the manufacturer Reskit, intended for the Sea King helicopter model in 1:48 scale. It is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a standalone helicopter model. The set adds the struts and brackets with which the folded blades are secured for stowage.
The set represents the fittings that hold the folded rotor blades against the fuselage on a ship's deck or in a hangar, so that the blades do not move. The accessory comes into its own above all when building a model with the rotor folded and gives the scene an authentic shipboard character. Judge the exact number of parts by the packaging.
Wash the fine parts to remove residues of print resin and separate them carefully from the supports, because they are fragile. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Unify the items with a base coat and weather them gently at the points of contact and on the fittings.
This is a resin accessory. The base helicopter model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
