This product is not an aircraft kit but an accurate metal accessory. The package contains two turned brass barrels of the standard form of the American Browning M2 aircraft machine gun of .50 cal (12.7 mm). They replace the plastic barrels and give the model a crisp, hollow-bored muzzle.
The .50 cal Browning M2 machine gun was the basic armament of the vast majority of American fighters of the Second World War and of later machines as well. It was mounted in the wings and in the fuselage, and its barrels are clearly visible on models.
Cut off the plastic barrel, drill a hole and glue the turned part in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Hold the small parts with tweezers and degrease the metal before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
