Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed 3D printed resin model of the Wright R-790 Whirlwind J-5 radial engine from the manufacturer Lukgraph in 1:48 scale. The set serves as a faithful replacement for or addition to the powerplant of a model; thin steel cable for making the pushrods to the cylinders is usually enclosed with the parts. It is not an aircraft kit but a separate detailed engine for superdetailing.
The Wright R-790 Whirlwind J-5 was a nine-cylinder air-cooled radial engine that became one of the most reliable powerplants of the turn of the 1920s and 1930s. It powered a number of aircraft of the time and became famous above all as the engine of long-distance record machines. A faithfully rendered engine is a conspicuous element of every model with its cowling open.
This is a resin accessory. The model of the aircraft, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
