Responsibility details are not available.
This Reskit set adds AIM-4 Falcon guided air-to-air weapons to a model of an interceptor. The figure of four pieces is carried by the name of the item. What you get are the missiles themselves; the carrier you choose according to the kit you have under construction.
The Falcon was the first American guided air-to-air weapon to enter service in quantity. It reached the inventory in the middle of the nineteen-fifties and came about in a radar-guided and in an infrared variant. Outwardly these differ mainly in the treatment of the nose. The body is slender, with long delta-shaped surfaces and small control surfaces at their ends, which gives the missile an unmistakable outline.
The typical carriers were American interceptors of the nineteen-fifties and sixties, among them the F-89 Scorpion, the F-102 Delta Dagger and the F-101B Voodoo. The last two carried Falcons in an internal weapons bay, which they swung out into the airstream before launch. A later version appeared under the wings of the Phantom as well.
Rather leave the small surfaces a sharp edge and sand them only minimally. Before gluing, try seating the parts dry in their mounting, so that the angle and the spacing between them are right. The deviation of a single missile is seen at once in a small scale.
