Resin (3D-printed) AIM-4D Falcon missiles (4 pcs) in 1:72 scale for experienced modelers — an early air-to-air guided missile as an external accessory, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D-printed) set for experienced modelers, not a standalone model. The package contains four AIM-4D Falcon missiles in 1:72 scale as faithful external stores for models of American fighters. This variant of the set comes without launch rails.
The AIM-4 Falcon was the first operational American air-to-air guided missile, introduced in the 1950s. The AIM-4D version was a lightened variant with an infrared, heat-seeking head, optimized for combat against fighters. It was carried among others by F-4D Phantom II machines during service in Vietnam. These are early guided missiles that preceded the later Sidewinders.
In the small 1:72 scale, work with a sharp knife and a fine grip with tweezers. Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, wash the mold release agent residue off and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. Check the seating on the pylons of the particular model before hanging them.
This is a supplementary set for a plastic kit, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
