A set of four 3D-printed resin AIM-7F Sparrow III air-to-air missiles in 1:72 scale from Reskit. This is not an aircraft model but an accessory for filling the stores stations of a model. The High Vis finish corresponds to the conspicuous markings with a white body and colored bands.
The AIM-7F is an American semi-active radar-guided medium-range air-to-air missile. The F version brought fully solid-state electronics, a more powerful motor and a longer reach. It was carried by a range of machines, among them the F-4 Phantom II, F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-16 and F/A-18.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, separate them from the print supports and clean them up. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; masking and an airbrush work well for the bands and markings. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
