The set contains four 3D-printed resin AIM-9B Sidewinder missiles in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is an accessory for superdetailing, not an aircraft model in its own right. The parts capture the shape of the early version of the missile faithfully, including the control and stabilizing surfaces.
The AIM-9B was the first production version of the American infrared guided Sidewinder air-to-air missile, from the end of the 1950s. It spread widely among the Western fighters of the time and became the basis of the long line of Sidewinder development.
Wash the parts, separate them carefully from their supporting structures and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with your airways protected. The missiles are fitted to the matching pylons, the joints are filled and the whole is sprayed. Paints, decals and pylons are not included in the package.
