The subject is the chain screen with steel balls hung on the rear of the turret of the Israeli Merkava tank. It serves as protection against shaped-charge weapons: it disrupts their action before they reach the armor and at the same time keeps them from wedging between the turret and the hull.
Before separating the resin parts from the supports, warm them briefly in hot water or with a hair dryer, so that the material does not shatter and the fine chain does not snap. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). After the base color, bring the balls out with metallic shades and refine them with washes, so that their shape and wear show.
It is supplied as unpainted resin parts. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
