A set of two injection-molded plastic kits in 1:72 scale from the German brand Revell. In one package you will find the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 and the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V, that is, a pair of famous rivals from the European skies of the Second World War. Both models have the cockpit, landing gear and propeller represented, and the package holds decals for their markings.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 was one of the last and fastest production versions of the German Gustav fighter, with a powerful engine and a lightened airframe. The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was among the most widespread versions of the British fighter and bore the main burden of the fighting in the first half of the war. By building both machines you gain a clear pair of the principal opponents.
Glue the parts with a thin modeling cement and protect the cockpit glazing with a mask. After spraying the base color with an airbrush, apply the camouflage, the decals and a light panel wash. The set also suits as a comparative pair for one display case.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
