A kit of the Dassault Mirage IIIEA / Dagger tailless supersonic fighter in 1:72 scale from the Turkish maker PM Model. It is an injection-molded plastic model in gray plastic with clear cockpit parts and a decal sheet. The boxing allows the machine to be built in a form matching South American service. The structure is simple, with a lower part count. Glue, paints and accessories are not included.
The Mirage IIIEA was the Argentine version of the French Dassault Mirage III supersonic fighter with its characteristic tailless delta wing. The Dagger was a related machine of Israeli origin (derived from the Mirage 5) also operated in Argentina. Both types are among the iconic delta machines of the Cold War and became known for their use in the South Atlantic conflict.
On an older tool, clean up the flash, dry-fit the parts and fill the joints. Glue with thin cement for plastic, use a primer and an airbrush. The delta wing and the smooth surfaces reward careful sanding of the joints. Apply gloss varnish before the decals and unify the surface with a matte overcoat at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
