A 3D-printed resin detail accessory from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit. It is not an aircraft model but a faithful scale rendering of the underwing data link pod that works together with the AGM-142 air-to-ground guided missile.
The AGM-142 missile is a heavy guided weapon for precision strikes against ground targets. For man-in-the-loop guidance the carrying aircraft needs a data link pod that passes the picture from the seeker and the commands. The combination of the missile and this pod appeared on a number of heavy tactical machines.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand with respiratory protection. A smooth primer coat brings out the fine detail.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled; paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
