Responsibility details are not available.
A newly developed injection-molded plastic kit of the photo-reconnaissance version of the Mosquito in 1:72 scale from Special Hobby. The package contains gray plastic sprues and a sprue with clear parts, along with a decal set with several markings of operators.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine combat aircraft with a largely wooden structure. The PR Mk.XVI version was intended for long-range high-altitude photo reconnaissance deep over enemy territory during the Second World War. It was powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce Merlin engines and was used to obtain intelligence photographs from great heights, where its high performance and speed protected it from enemy fighters.
Glue the clear glazing parts with glue for transparent plastics and mask them in advance. Apply a filler before painting; the smooth surfaces of the wooden structure come out well under an airbrush. High-altitude reconnaissance machines usually carried simple overall camouflage, which you bring to life with gentle accenting of the panels and discreet weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
