An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat trainer version of the famous General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter in 1:72 scale from Hasegawa, done as a US Air Force trainer. The model is molded in gray plastic, with clear glazing parts and decals, and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The F-16 is a single-engine multi-role fighter that became one of the most widespread combat aircraft of the Western world. The two-seat F-16B version serves for training pilots and preparing them for combat duties; it has a lengthened canopy with two seats in tandem. The Plus designation refers to the version with larger dorsal fairings and expanded avionics.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and careful cleaning up of the fuselage seam. The two-seat cockpit is clearly on show, so it pays to paint it with care. Apply a primer before painting and paint with an airbrush; the typical scheme is the gray fighter finish. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
