A set of four resin 3D-printed AIM-7E-2 Sparrow III air-to-air missiles in 1:72 scale from the maker Reskit. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for fitting a model's pylons.
The AIM-7E-2 was a modification of the semi-active radar-guided Sparrow missile, nicknamed the Dogfight Sparrow. A shortened arming delay adapted it to combat at shorter ranges during the Vietnam War. It was carried by machines such as the F-4 Phantom II and later the F-15 and F-16 as well.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, separate them from the print supports and clean up the surfaces. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay down a primer before painting; protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
