The Fokker F.VIIb/3m was a three-engine high-wing aircraft originally intended for civil transport, which in the interwar period was one of the most widespread airliners and mail planes. Its structure consisted of a welded steel fuselage covered in fabric and a wooden wing of large span; it was powered by three radial engines (one in the nose and two in nacelles under the wing). During the Spanish Civil War these machines were used by both sides of the conflict as improvised bombers and transports.
It is a short-run kit — count on the parts having fewer locating pins and calling for more deliberate fitting, clean-up and gluing; bond the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and the plastic ones with liquid cement for plastic. Paint the interior and the extensive glazing before closing up and mask them when spraying. Apply a primer, spray the colors with an airbrush and bring out the panel lines discreetly with a wash. Set the three engines and the landing gear carefully and straight.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
