A plastic kit of the German Leopard 2A4 main battle tank in 1:72 scale in the version for the ground forces of the Bundeswehr of roughly the 1980s to the 2000s. The smaller scale allows a quick, straightforward build and is ideal for collections of modern armor or for dioramas.
The Leopard 2 is a German main battle tank, the successor to the successful Leopard 1. The 2A4 version became the most widespread and the longest-produced variant and still serves in many countries today. It is marked by an angular welded turret, a modern fire control system and a 120 mm smoothbore gun.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and work with tweezers on the small parts. Assemble the running gear before closing up the hull. Spray the typical three-color NATO camouflage with an airbrush and support the weathering with washes and dust pigments on the running gear and the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
