The Sparrow was a transport modification of the twin-engine Handley Page high-wing aircraft, derived from the Harrow type. It served in the RAF for carrying cargo and for supply; the combat equipment was removed from the airframe in favor of the cargo space. The aircraft was notable for its fixed landing gear and capacious fuselage.
A short-run kit calls for more careful cleaning up of the parts and dry-fitting the assembly before gluing. Use liquid cement on the joints and fill and sand the large areas of the fuselage and the wings well. Apply a primer before painting and lay the shades on with an airbrush.
