The Junkers Ju 52/3m was a three-engined transport and airliner built from the 1930s. In civil service it was operated by Lufthansa and other airlines, while in military guise it served above all as a transport. For its reliability and ruggedness it earned the affectionate nickname Tante Ju, meaning Auntie Ju. The corrugated metal skin and the three-engine layout made it unmistakable.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic; when cleaning up the seams take care not to damage the fine texture of the corrugated skin. Paint and highlight the interior and the three engines before closing up the fuselage, and mask the glazing. A glossy metal or light finish is typical of the civil Lufthansa machines, so apply it with an airbrush and bring out the panel lines and the corrugations with a gentle wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
