Eduard 1:72 Kittyhawk Mk. Ia landing flaps is a photo-etched add-on set that replaces the landing flaps on a model of the Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk. Ia fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched add-on set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory of thin brass sheet that replaces the landing flaps with finely embossed photo-etched parts. It makes it possible to show the flaps in the lowered position with a faithful structure.
The Curtiss Kittyhawk Mk. Ia was the British and Allied version of the American fighter of the P-40 family. During the Second World War it was used above all in North Africa and over the Pacific for ground support and escort.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, shape them with a bending tool or over a straight edge and glue them with super glue. Degrease the surfaces before painting and apply a primer; spraying with an airbrush is then recommended.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
