A set of resin wheels for the F-15 E/I/K in 1:72 scale from Reskit. A detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels with more faithful resin castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the McDonnell Douglas F-15 Strike Eagle multi-role strike aircraft in the E, I and K versions in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the wheels from the kit with more accurate castings with fine relief on the tire and the rim.
The castings capture the tread pattern and the sidewalls of the tires as well as the layout of the wheel hubs. The heavier tires of the strike versions give a slightly loaded impression, so a standing model looks more faithful than with the smooth plastic parts from the box. The set is made for the ordinary plastic kits of the Strike Eagle in this scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), not with plastic cement. Protect your airways when sanding resin; apply a primer before painting.
It is an add-on set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
