This is a 3D printed resin detail set of the PTB-1500 centerline drop tank for the MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter in 1:72 scale from Reskit. It is not a kit and not a model of an aircraft but a faithful replacement part for the large tank holding 1500 liters, which on the MiG-29 is carried under the fuselage on the centerline pylon. It is the smaller scale of the same tank that Reskit also offers in 1:48.
The set replaces a simplified or missing plastic tank with an accurate 3D printed part with faithful proportions, filler ports and surface detail. It raises the realism of the lower part of the model when the aircraft is shown in a configuration for long-range flights.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports off and clean the surfaces up; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting and spray the shades with an airbrush. In 1:72 scale work especially carefully because of the small dimensions of the part.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
