This is a printed scenic base from the Hungarian manufacturer Red Fox Studio in 1:72 scale measuring 250 x 160 mm. The base reproduces the surface of a Soviet or Russian military airfield with the typical precast concrete slabs (PAG), their joints and matching wear. The Type 2 version differs from the other types in the line in the pattern of the surface.
The base serves as a realistic setting for displaying and photographing models of aircraft and vehicles, or for building a smaller diorama. On its own it is neither a model nor a kit.
The material resists UV light as well as paints and is easy to cut to the shape you need. The effect can be brought out further with a light dusting of pigments or with dry-brushed paints; it is a good idea to tidy up or frame the edges.
This is a scenic accessory, not a kit. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
