A photo-etched metal detail set of light and periscope guards for a plastic kit of the American M4 Sherman medium tank with the welded hull, in 1:35 scale by Elefant. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory that raises the fidelity of the armored guards over the headlights and the periscopes. According to the name the set is enough for two vehicles. The fine metal parts replace coarser plastic elements from the base kit and give the model edges thin and sharp in scale.
Carefully separate the fine photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife, bend the elements that need it in a photo-etch bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting for good adhesion of the paint to metal, then spray the camouflage with an airbrush and bring the detail out with a wash and pigments.
This is not a model but a detail accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
