An unassembled kit of the Northrop NL-10 aircraft in 1:72 scale. Plastic parts for building and painting yourself.
Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the aircraft designated Northrop NL-10 in 1:72 scale. It is supplied unassembled: you glue and paint the parts yourself, so the finished piece carries the hand of its builder, from the thickness of the paint to the way you bring out the surface detail.
1:72 is the most widespread scale for aircraft. Finished models take up little room in a display case and are easy to build in a row, so you can stand machines side by side that would not fit on one shelf in larger scales. The range of accessories, masks and paints on the market is widest for this scale. Fine detail in this scale is often handled by paint and shading rather than by the shape of a part, which makes a careful spray job all the more important.
Separate the parts with side cutters a little away from the part and sand the rest carefully so that no burr is left on the edge. Dry-fit every joint first and only then apply the glue, in the smallest drops on small parts. It pays to fill and sand the seams on the fuselage and on the leading edges of the wing, because they stand out more after spraying than during the build. Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting; the paint then holds even where you have handled the part a lot.
For modelers who want a less common machine in their aircraft collection and do not mind the ordinary work on a kit, that is sanding, filling and spraying. The package holds the parts of the kit; paints, glue, filler and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
