This set is NOT an aircraft model but an aftermarket detail accessory in 1:72 scale from CMK. It contains underwing bomb racks together with bombs and the side plywood support boards that held the bomb up when it was hung. The set is intended for finishing plastic models of the P-40 aircraft (the Warhawk and Kittyhawk families) from Special Hobby and serves to enrich the armament and external stores of the base model.
The parts are made as a fine resin and printed set for experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks and supports away with a sharp knife or a fine saw and sand with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy; ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
